VRMED responded on Thursday morning to reports of a pedestrian-involved collision on Rudolf Greyling road in Estoire, Bloemfontein.
Upon arrival shortly after 08:20 crews were informed that a mother and her two sons had been hit by a vehicle.
The mother was found lying on the road with serious injuries. VRMED advanced care paramedic stabilized the patient on scene.
The two boys sustained minor injuries and were also transported to Pelonomi Hospital for further care.
