The South African Police Service in Limpopo deported thousand three hundred and eighty-seven (1 387) undocumented immigrants and arrested fifty (50) suspects for various offences that included selling liquor without a license, assault GBH, harbouring of undocumented persons and contravention of the Immigration Act during joint Cross-Alive Road
Safety Operations that were conducted between 31 July 2023 and 03 August 2023 in Musina Policing precinct and Beitbridge Border Post.
This massive operation comprised law enforcement agencies such as the South African Police Service, South African National Defence Force, Home Affairs, Border Control Management, Road Transport Inspectorate (RTI) Unit, Road Accident Fund (RAF), Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA), South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL), Customs (SARS), Provincial and Local Traffic Police, and the law enforcement agencies from Zimbabwe and Zambia.
