Minibus torched by armed suspects in Ntombe – KZN

A white Toyota Quantum was torched by armed suspects in Ntombe – KZN today (Monday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene at approximately 09:43 and discovered the minibus taxi engulfed in flames. It was established that the driver was seated in the vehicle when an unknown number of armed men approached him. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The taxi rolled and collided with a general dealer situated in a shipping container. The suspects doused the vehicle with fuel and set it alight.

This is the second arson attack on minibus taxis that Reaction Officers attended to since Thursday.
