John Philander from the Fidelity Services Group Somerset West branch is always prepared when it comes to emergencies.
He managed to douse a fire that had quickly started in a vehicle, on the side of Baden Powell Drive in Cape Town today.
Fire services were called and eventually arrived, but it was John who saved the day before it got out of control.
