Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani is saddened by the news of the passing of 6 young people near La Havana Park, Malamulele, Vhembe District on the morning of 01 July 2023.
According to reports, a Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a Toyota Tazz. 4 people perished on the scene and 2 person passed away at the Hospital.
Reports state drunk and reckless driving as the possible cause of the accident.

MEC Radzilani has raised concerns about the number of accidents caused by human behavior on our various roads.
"Since the beginning of the year Limpopo has reported a lot of accidents emanating from the behavior of our people, our people tend to ignore the rules on the roads hence the number of fatalities has risen thus far."
