Today at about 12:55 Virginia SAPS were informed about a fatal shooting incident at Central Plant mine premises in Virginia.
On arrival, five bodies were found on the mine premises. The motive of the killing unknown and suspects on the loose. Preliminary investigation reveals that they were shot and killed execution-style.
One of the five was identified as a Mozambique national. As he was identified by his brother residing in Thabong, Welkom.
A case of five murders was registered for further investigation.
