On Friday afternoon, IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of a child that had been struck by a vehicle near the Mandeni toll.
On arrival, IPSS medics found a 4-year-old who had been left with critical injuries. IPSS Medical Rescue advanced life support worked to stabilise the child, and the decision was made to activate Air Mercy Service (AMS) helicopter.
The young girl has been airlifted to a suitable facility in Tongaat for the further care she requires….
