This morning, a man in his 30s, believed to have been a suspect, was shot and killed during a cash-in-transit heist on the R29 in Leandra, Mpumalanga.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 09h59 to find the local authorities already in attendance.
On closer inspection, medics found the body of a man in his 30s, believed to have been a suspect, lying motionless in a light motor vehicle. Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his head and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
