Limpopo police declare their readiness for Easter celebrations following the launch of Operation Paseka

The Limpopo province displayed readiness for the upcoming Easter celebrations following the launching of the Safer Easter, Operation Paseka by the management of the Security Forces along R71 public road near Marobathota High school on Wednesday, 05 April 2023.

The MEC for Transport and Community Safety Mme Florence Radzilane received the Operational Plan from the Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe to be implemented during the period. The reflector jackets were handed out to the Provincial CPF Chairperson, Mr Kgasago.

Roadblocks were manned together with stop and searches and other crime Prevention activities comprising of Traffic police and SAPS members amongst others.

Police will be tightening its crime-fighting efforts with the launch of 'Operation Paseka' and will see members out in full force working closely with other role players to ensure safety of thousands of people who will be arriving to various religious pilgrimages across the province…
