KwaZulu-Natal: At 15H10 Monday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian vehicle collision on the R102 Umkomaas.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 10-year-old male was crossing the road when he was struck down by a mini-bus taxi.
The patient was treated on scene by an Emergency Care Practitioner and due to the nature of his injuries the Netcare5 specialised helicopter ambulance was called to airlift the the child to a specialist facility for the care he needed.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
