Yesterday Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a farm in Bishopstowe for reports of a shooting.
When emergency services arrived they found that 1 patient had sustained critical injuries from a gunshot wound.
According to reports from the scene, the homeowners wife had opened the front door of their property to investigate barking of one of her dogs, where she was overpowered and robbed of her cell phone. The homeowner rushed to her aid, and was immediately shot.
The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
This attack follows a similar attack two days earlier, and a fatal shooting the week before in a neighboring suburb….
