The body of a man was airlifted off a mountain in Stellenbosch, Western Cape earlier today.
ER24 and Metro Rescue Services arrived at an estate where they were informed of two men trapped on a nearby mountain.
Medics and Metro Rescue Services, along with a guide, hiked for some time to find the patient.
Sadly, when medics found two men, one of them was deceased and the other was airlifted by AMS Medical Helicopter to the estate for assessment. He was found with no injuries.
Local authorities were informed of the incident….
