A hijacked truck and two trailers loaded with RB1 coal were recovered by Reaction Officers in Inanda – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a Police Detective based at Durban North SAPS requesting assistance to recover the articulated vehicle.
Reaction Officers were provided with GPS Co-Ordinates which led them to an unnamed road in Inanda – KZN where the truck and trailers were recovered abandoned. Its load of RB1 coal was intact. It was established that the vehicle was hijacked in Pongola – KZN by two armed suspects.
The uninjured driver was dropped off near Westville – KZN.
