Goodwood SAPS investigating a case of Kidnapping

According to information today a eight-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by an unknown man.

According to the complainant, a family friend, she walked with the girl at Vasco Railway Station when she was approached by the suspect who told her that he is doing a promotion for Edgars and the girl fitted the profile. She then walked with him to N1 City Mall. On the way the suspect gave the complainant money to buy colddrinks at a filling station. When she returned he told the complainant to wait for a taxi who will take her home to fetch another child for the promotion. He walked off with the eight-year-old child. The complainant later ran to N1 City to find that Edgars was closed. The name of the child is Carlin Plaatjies.
