Gauteng: At 06H56 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M5, near the Cradle of Humankind in the West Rand.
Reports indicate that a cyclist, partaking in a race, was struck down by a motorist.
Medics assessed the scene and found the patient, an adult male, in a serious condition.
The patient was treated on scene by emergency care practitioners.
Once stabilized, the patient was flown by Netcare 2 helicopter to a specialised trauma unit….
