Four people were left injured this morning following a three-vehicle collision on the N12 west-bound near the Tom Jones offramp in Benoni.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the vehicles on the side of the road. One of the vehicles was found lying on its side.
On closer inspection, paramedics found two children and two women walking around on the scene. Assessments of the patients showed that all four patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
