Earlier this morning, IPSS Medical Rescue, together with EMRS, attended to a scene on the N2 at the Tugela Bridge where a fully loaded bakkie towing a trailer collided head on with a fuel tanker.
There were 3 patients who sustained injuries, 2 of which were entrapped in the bakkie and needed to be extracted by Rural Metro under the care of IPSS Medical Advanced Life Paramedics.
Patients have been transported to hospital for further care.
