On Saturday evening, five people were injured when a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided at the Dolomite and Onyx Road intersection in Carletonville.
ER24 and another service arrived on the scene at 18h48 to find a light motor vehicle parked on the side of the road while the taxi had come to a stop in the road. The taxi driver was found seated in his vehicle while four other patients were walking around.
Medics assessed the patients and found that two were in serious condition while three others had sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
