A female motorist in her twenties has been declared dead on arrival of paramedics at a collision scene involving a truck and a light motor vehicle at the intersection of the R25 and M6 in the Tierpoort area this afternoon.
Reports from the scene are that the truck and sedan collided at high speed and high impact, leaving the female who was the only occupant of the sedan with fatal injuries.
The incident and the events preceding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
