A short while ago, Medi Response paramedics responded to the R102 Shakas Head, for reports of a multi-vehicle collision.
On arrival of paramedics it was established that a vehicle, truck and motorbike had been involved in a collision. The events leading up to the accident are unknown.
Medi Response paramedics worked to manage the scene. Unfortunately the motorbike rider sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on scene.
A further four persons traveling in the light motor vehicle, sustained moderate to serious injuries while the truck driver escaped unharmed.
The injured were stabilised on scene before being transported to nearby medical facilities.
The police were on scene and will investigate further….
