A farm worker in his 40s has suffered critical injuries after a telephone pole they were erecting fell down on top of him on a farm outside Potchefstroom this morning.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 11:23 along with a Mooirivier Beskerming first responder. The man was found lying on the ground and unresponsive having suffered a critical head injury.
He was treated with Advanced Life Support interventions, intubated, and ventilated before being transported to a private hospital by Medical Helicopter for further care….
