Eight people injured in Taxi crash at the corner of Alpine Road and Umgeni Road in Durban

Eight people have been injured after a Taxi and a Bakkie collided at the corner of Alpine Road and Umgeni Road in Durban on Thursday morning. Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two vehicles had collided in the junction. The taxi then overturned coming to rest on its side. A total of eight people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
