A 42-year-old male suffered moderate injuries after he was run over by his company vehicle on Old Main Road in Ottawa – KZN today (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 10:41 and discovered a male lying in a prone position on an embankment. It was established that he was the driver of a Hyundai H100 bakkie. He parked his vehicle, which began to roll shortly after he disembarked. He stood in front of the bakkie in an attempt to bring it to a stop when he was run over. The vehicle continued to roll and crashed into a ditch across the road.
The driver was treated for his injuries before being transported to hospital by ambulance….
