The driver of a white Hyundai i20 escaped injury after crashing her vehicle while attempting to avoid pedestrians crossing the south bound lane of the R102 between the Verulam and Canelands intersection -KZN this morning (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene at approximately 02:52 and located the 33 year old female driver on the side of the road. She explained that she was traveling to her residence in Mountview -KZN when she noticed three males crossing the road. She swerved in an attempt to avoid striking them when she lost control of her car and veered down an embankment.
The pedestrians were not injured….
