Driver arrested with unlicensed firearm with ammunition, jammer, traffic officer uniforms, false number plates and blue lights in his vehicle.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Manamela has expressed her appreciation on the efforts and commitment to fight crime by police (Secunda Flying Squad) after arresting one suspect yesterday.

According to our information, members of the Secunda Flying Squad members were patrolling on the R29 near Leandra when they came across a suspicious Toyota Corolla vehicle. Their instincts prove to be correct when they stopped the vehicle and instead, two of its occupants fled even before the spoke to the Police. The energetic members searched the vehicle and found an unlicensed firearm with ammunition, jammer, traffic officer uniforms, false number plates and blue lights in the vehicle.
