Earlier today reports were recieved of two boys, aged 10 years and 13 years, who reportedly got into difficulty whilst swimming in the Mdloti River near Mt Moreland.
According to friends who were with the two, they got into difficulty whilst swimming in the river, and despite attempts made by friends to rescue them, they disappeared under the water.
IPSS Search and Rescue division alongside Metro Search and Rescue and SAPS Search and Rescue searched the river in the vicinity where the two were last seen, but unfortunately were unsuccessful in locating the boys.
The search was called off due to fading light and will continue tomorrow morning.
