The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms. Dikeledi Magadzi, and Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr. David Mahlobo will visit the Mangaung Municipality as part of
their District Development Model (DDM) deployment by Cabinet, as district champions. The visit will take place on the 15th of June 2021.
Members of the media are therefore invited to join the Deputy Ministers on this visit.
The purpose of this visit is to follow up on progress made by the municipality since the last visit in September 2020. This time around the focus will be on
COVID 19, Gender-Based Violence and other service delivery-related issues to be escalated by the stakeholders.
The Deputy Ministers will undertake engagements with Non-Governmental Organisations, Community Policing Forums, Religious leaders, and other key Stakeholder on
Covid-19 and Gender-Based Violence challenges in the Mangaung Metro.
