Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Marine Drive in Lawrence Rocks, Ramsgate on the KZN South Coast.
Reports indicate that a delivery man lost control of his scooter after hitting a pothole.
The patient, an adult male in his thirties, had sustained minor injuries after being flung over the handlebars.
The patient was treated on scene and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
