Critically injured taxi driver evacuated after collision on the corner of Ou Kaapse Weg and Buller Louw Boulevard

At 8:00AM this morning, Cape Medical Response was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Ou Kaapse Weg and Buller Louw Boulevard where a light motor vehicle and a taxi were involved in a collision.

The driver of the taxi was found to be in a critical condition and was treated on the scene by CMR medics. The patient was airlifted by Air Mercy Service (AMS) to a Cape Town hospital in a very serious condition.

The patient in the other vehicle was not injured.

The other services on the scene were Fish Hoek Fire & Rescue, SAPS and City of Cape Town Traffic Services….
