Last night, three men were injured when a truck and a light motor vehicle collided on Donald Road in Meyerton.
ER24 and the Midvaal Fire Services arrived at 23h21 to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road. The truck driver was seen walking around while three men lay trapped inside the car.
The Midvaal Fire Services had to use specialised equipment to free the men from the car. Once released, medics assessed the men and found that one was in a serious condition while the two others sustained only minor injuries.
The men were treated, and the critically injured man was provided advanced life support before being transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
