Approximately sixteen injured in taxi collision on the R71 in Vembek outside of Tzaneen in Limpopo.

Approximately sixteen people were left injured this afternoon following a taxi collision on the R71 in Vembek outside of Tzaneen in Limpopo.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the local EMS already in attendance. 
On assessment, paramedics found that approximately sixteen people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported by various services to nearby hospitals.
It is understood that a number of the patients had already been transported to nearby hospitals, prior to the arrival of ER24.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
