A Taxi and truck collided leaving thirteen injured on the Boshoff Road, Northern Cape

Thirteen people were left injured this afternoon following a collision between a taxi and truck on the Boshoff Road, approximately 9km outside of Kimberley in the Northern Cape.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at approximately 14h49 to find that a taxi and truck collided. Both vehicles were found situated in the middle of the road.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that a total of thirteen patients had been injured. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to hospitals in Kimberley for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
