On Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 14:30, the CERT Centurion crew responded to a pedestrian-vehicle collision on the N14 Highway northbound, just before the Jean Avenue off-ramp in Centurion.
Upon arrival, it was established that the pedestrian had sustained fatal injuries and had sadly succumbed to these injuries prior to our arrival. The patient was declared deceased on scene.
Our sincere condolences go out to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage. SAPS has opened an investigation into the matter.
