At approximately 07H40 on Monday morning 12 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the Old Johannesburg Road (R101) near to the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that two busses and a car were involved in the crash.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 attended to and transported both of the bus drivers to different hospitals, they were in a stable condition. The driver of the car was fortunate not to be injured. The one bus was said to have no passengers while several commuters from the other bus sustained minor injuries and were transported by various ambulance services to a hospital for further assessment and care.
The incident and preceding events are being investigated.
