At approximately 14h45 on Monday 12 February 2018, Netcare 911 dispatched a paramedic response car and an ambulance following reports that a child had been knocked down outside a primary school in Klipspringer Street in Kempton Park.
Reports from the scene alleged that the leaner was knocked down by a minibus taxi right outside his school.
The paramedic team attended to the seven-year-old boy and they were relieved to find that it was a relatively minor collision and the boy was fortunate to escape with minor injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital in a stable condition for further assessment and care.
Police were on the scene to investigate.
