At approximately 07H40 on Thursday 22 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious crash on the R21 southbound before the Olifantsfontein exit in the Centurion area, Tshwane.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 and various other services attended to the incident.
Reports from the scene allege that the minibus had a blowout and the vehicle then rolled.
Paramedics attended to multiple patients at the scene and eight commuters were stabilised at the scene before being transported by Netcare 911 and other ambulance services to a hospital for further assessment and care.
Fortunately, they were all in a stable condition; two had sustained moderate injuries while six had sustained relatively minor injuries.
The incident is being investigated.
