Five people have been injured after a four-vehicle pile up on Umbilo Road before Queen Mary Avenue in Umbilo on Friday morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a Truck, Bus and two vehicles had been involved in a rear-end collision. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist. A total of five people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
