Western Cape: At 17H48 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of the R27 and Loxton road.
Upon arrival a private ambulance was already in attendance treating the patient.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 48-year-old male motorcyclist was knocked down by a mini-bus taxi.
The patient sustained an injury to his right shoulder and required intravenous medication for the pain.
The patient was treated on scene and transported by a private ambulance service under the care of a Netcare 911 Paramedic to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
