At approximately 07H30 on Wednesday morning 28 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a bus crash on Marapong Road close to the Exxaro Crossing in the Lephalale area, Limpopo.
Paramedics from various ambulance services attended to multiple patients at the scene where the bus had overturned.
A total of twenty four commuters were injured in the incident: one sustained very serious injuries, five sustained moderate injuries and eighteen others sustained relatively minor injuries.
The injured were transported by ambulances to hospital for further assessment and care.
