16 Injured in taxi crash on the N3 Pinetown Bound near Berea Road offramp

Sixteen people have been injured after a Taxi and a vehicle collided on the N3 Pinetown Bound near Berea Road offramp on Saturday morning just after 11am.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find chaos. A Taxi and a vehicle had collided before the taxi had overturned coming to rest on its roof. A total of sixteen people had sustained various injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist with the multiple casualties on the scene. Once all the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
