Fifteen people have been injured after the taxi they were in overturned coming to rest on its side on the N3 Durban Bound near Warwick Avenue around 1pm today.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a single taxi had overturned coming to rest on its side in the emergency lane. Multiple casualties were found on the scene and immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist. A total of fifteen people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
