This afternoon Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N2 near Izingolweni for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that a truck, taxi and car had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 5 patients had sustained serious injuries and a further 10 patients had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were all treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
