KZNVIP Medics were alerted by residents of the collision responded swiftly. Upon arrival of KZNVIP 1 female had been entrapped in the vehicle whilst others traumatized waited along the roadway seeking medical assistance
The child was extricated by KZNVIP and stabilized together with multiple other learners.
It's alleged a brake failure resulted in the crashed but cannot be confirmed at this stage. We urge family and community members to always allow emergency services to continue and do their job as they are trained in disaster management and mass casualty incidents.
Medics have to start with a triage of patients, stabilize accordingly, update a medical facility that they will be coming with a patient and also obtain family or next of kin details.
