12 Injured in Berea taxi crash

Twelve people have been injured after three vehicles collided on Berea Road before Essenwood Road in Berea this morning around 07:20.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that three vehicles had collided leaving multiple patients injured. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist with the multiple casualty scene. Once all twelve casualties had been treated on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At thus stage the events leading up to the crash is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
