10 injured in a crash on Golf Road in Epworth Pietermaritzburg

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi on the side of the road lying on its side. The light motor vehicle was parked a short distance away.

The occupants had already climbed out of the taxi and were found seated on the sidewalk.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that four had sustained minor injuries while six others had sustained minor injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.

The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

At 07H00 Wednesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Golf Road in Epworth Pietermaritzburg. Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.

A total of ten people were injured in the collision and were treated on scene and transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment. All necessary authorities were on the scene to investigate.
