10 Injured after taxi and vehicle collide on Umgeni road in Durban

Approximately 10 people sustained minor to moderate injuries after a taxi and a car collided on Umgeni road in Durban last night.

At about 17h30, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found two women from the taxi, believed to be between the ages of 17 to 25, sustained moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

Eight more patients sustained minor injuries and they were transported to nearby hospitals by other emergency services on scene.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
