One person has sustained moderate injuries after a Taxi and a Truck collided on Edwin Swales Drive before Bluff Road on Tuesday evening.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene just after 5:30pm to find the taxi lying on its side. The truck had left the scene. One passenger in the taxi had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the collisions is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
