1 Dead, 2 seriously injured in taxi crash on Van Wyk Street in Davidsonville, Roodepoort

Gauteng: At 12H43 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Van Wyk Street in Davidsonville Roodepoort.
Reports from the scene indicate that one person Tragically died and four others sustained injuries in a collision between a mini-bus taxi and a light motor vehicle.
Netcare 911 Rescue technicians had to use the Jaws of Life to free the driver of the car.
All the patients were treated on scene and transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
