Pietermaritzburg: At 18H13 Wednesday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Langalibalele road.
Reports from the scene indicate that a male aged approximately 40 years old was struck down by a mini-bus taxi.
The patient sustained fractures and a head injury, the man was treated on scene and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
