Thirty people injured in a crash on the M4 Durban Bound near Steel Bridge

Approximately Thirty people have been injured after two taxis and two vehicles collided on the M4 Durban Bound near Steel Bridge just after 6 am this morning.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple casualties on the scene. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist as well as Advanced Life Support Paramedics. Approximately thirty passengers on their way to work had sustained various injuries and

were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
